CLASSES
The YWCA of Greater Johnstown offers many different types of water fitness classes. Listed below are all the Water Fitness classes along with brief descriptions of each class. Each class is lead by an instructor and many of the classes are done to various types of music. The cost of each session of classes immediately follows each description. All sessions run on a monthly basis. You have the option of attending the classes once or twice a week. Call the YWCA at 814-536-3519 for more information or to register.

NIBBLER PASS - A Nibbler Pass is a class pass that allows you to walk-in at your convenience to any Aquatics / Land classes or plunge offered at the YWCA . Swim Lessons and access to The Body Shop are NOT included in this offer.

AQUALATES
Strengthen and tone your body in a warm water workout using Pilates-style exercises.
Thursday 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM
ABC (Aquatic Body Conditioning)
Emphasis on total body toning and conditioning through water resistance and stretching. There are no aerobics done in this class.

AQUA AEROBICS
Fast-paced, shallow water workout includes warm ups, 20-25 minutes of aerobic exercise and cool down. This class is on a high impact level.

WATERWALKING
Excellent for arthritis sufferers. Medium to fast paced class with great aerobic movements. Water resistance is key in this class. One of the most popular Water Fitness classes at YWCA. This class comes highly recommended for those in need of water therapy.
